Long ago, I visited a coastal town in North Carolina. Between the hotel and the beach there was a strip of scrubby, low tree-shrubs, beaten down by the winds. Under those tree-shrubs lived at least HUNDREDS of tuxedo cats… and one gray tabby. It was a tuxedo cat colony! So fascinating.
