Thank heavens!
Penny: We had a scary day last week,
there were sirens going off and all kinds of loud weather.
Mom had to do the Comfort-the-kitties thing for a good while.
Penny: Thank heavens, those tornadoes did not come to visit our house!
Just 4 blocks down from us got some hail and LOTS of damage.
The hailstones were 3 inches in diameter!
Penny: Mom’s friend Ken is a storm chaser and got this amazing photo in Vernon Texas.
Mom does not like her friend chasing storms,
what a crazy thing to do!
But Ken assured her the tornado above was moving away from him
and he was perfectly safe.
Yeah, sure – like tornadoes never change direction?!

We are very happy all in the Catscue home are safe and did not go scampering
down the “yellow brick road”.

I’m glad everyone and every kitty is safe. The storms came our way, as well. Our, Callie, was scared. Her ears were laid back and she hid under a chair most of the day. We had 3 days of storms and today it is gorgeous.

We are so glad you are okay and did not get those storms! We don’t like those scary storms either! Penepole and Penny are stunning in the photos, but that is quite a photo by the storm chaser, too.

Storms, hailstorms and sound of siren can be very scary. Glad and thankful to know that the storm pass by you. I too think that following or chasing after storms or tornadoes is dangerous.
