Shy kitties
We have rescued feral kittens over the years, with different results.
All know they are loved, and most will become loving house cats.
Then there are the few who remain shy and evasive,
they are loving in their own way,
but stay mostly to themselves.
Here are two of those kitties that you don’t get to see very often.
This is Winnie.
We thought she was a rat, she was so small and fast!
When we realized it was a kitten, out came the trap.
Originally, she was called ‘The Wee Nipper’.
Ranger will let me pet him from time to time,
but mostly he likes being on his own,
doing his own thing –
no peeps fussing over this boy!
We are so thankful for these loving, shy kitties.
Aren’t they both just living works of art!

Shy kitties are good kitties too. Both are most good looking. I’ve had a couple kitties in my lifetime that didn’t want to be bothered. I loved them just as mush and the love bugs.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your mom. ♥

Your ferals are beautiful. Back when we were actively and constantly fostering kittens, we would occasionally get a feral kitten to try to tame so it would be adoptable at the shelter. My girls would proceed to put them in doll clothes and play tea party with them, and every single one ended up becoming adoptable. My guess is that they figured once they’d been dressed and feted, nothing worse could ever happen so they just gave in!

Winnie and Ranger are two very cute ones. They maybe a little shy but they look very happy. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
