Glad
Peaches: The glads are out!
Peaches: That just makes me so glad.
This summer started early and HOT here in Texas.
Our Pennyroyal seeds were not prepared for that and haven’t done so well.
We have a few that may make it – fingers-crossed!
We bought Pennyroyal on the advice of LouLou the French kitty
because fleas HATE Pennyroyal.
Pretty much everything in the garden is struggling – but not our glads!
We are so thankful that these beautiful and tough flowers are blooming,
nothing makes me happier than a flower-filled garden!

I know that disappointmrnt when the seeds don’t do well or when they weather just won;t cooperate.

When The Hubby and I first married, I purchased a tall glass vase, just for gladiolas!
The vase is shaped like a Greek Ionic Column; I happen to have peppered the house with columns, even our old fish tank!
Hope the rest of your garden gets a reprieve.

Peaches and your glads are looking great! Sorry to hear the heat is wreaking havoc on your Pennyroyals, though. It has been hot here, too (not Texas hot, but it was 100 today. Yikes!). Hugs!
