Still going through old photos and found this one from 4 years ago

when we saw a skinny little tortie in our backyard

and managed to gain her trust enough to get her inside and to a Vet.

We fattened her up and she turned out to be a very pretty little cat.

Leila is a lap cat to the extreme,

every time I sit down Leila jumps into my lap.

I love this girl!

A beautiful little girl indeed. I have loved Torties ever since I had my Admiral.

Oh, mama loves tortas because she had one named Luna who was so sweet and was found wandering in under the full moon near a fire station and the fire station didn’t know who she was so mama said if she jumps in my truck I’ll take her and she jumped right in the truck And mama took her home and then Papa went by and took down all the signs that mama had put up saying tiny kitten found who’s is she? But evidently nobody came to read the signs and there we were with Luna for many years

Love these photos, Leila is a bright-eyed beauty of a tortie for sure! We’ve had two torties-with-white in our cat history, one from the forest, and one from city streets.
