Stella, Stella, Stella
Our Stella is very much a Tortie,
despite the beautiful white chest and paws.
She has the typical strong mindedness of a Tortie
combined with a deep sense of loyalty and a loving nature.
I’ve heard that some peeps shy away from having a Tortie in their household
due to the ‘Tortitude’ label.
There is much more to ‘Tortitude’ than the ‘tude part.
There is that strong bond that only a Tortie can forge,
and the loving, loyal heart of gold
that is the hallmark of these kitties.
We have 3 Torties and are head-over-heels in love with these girls.
So, if you get a chance to adopt a Tortie, do it
– you’ll never regret that choice.

True. My Angel Maggy was a tortie-point Himalayan. Strong willed, independent, often aloof. Yet she was my heart cat and when she was ready to love, no other kitty ever could love as she did …

Stella is beautiful. I love her two-colored nose.

We adopted a tortie and yes, she is strong-willed but very loving. She loves to play and get into mischief. No regrets!

Amen to that! My Angel Lily was a Tortie and my first cat! Everything you said about Torties is true! 🙂 <3

What a beauty Stella is and what unusual markings! We had a little tortie with a two-toned nose, Spotty, now at the Rainbow Bridge. I always thought the tortitude was charming!

Stella is the very bestest Stella EVER…never mind her fur colors or purrsonality.

One of the befores, Kitty, was a tortie. She was one of the lovliest, calm and sweet cats EVER! Mom never knew about tortitude until she was on the blog-o-sphere. We are glad that your Torties are in the LCS spectrum!
Loulou
Well, mama and papa had a tortie named Luna, found on the night of a full moon, and she was WONDERFUL and SMART and LOVING even to her Tuxie sister and you know how ornery WE can be, haha.

There’s no kitty quite like a tortie. We had a tortie kitten we were bottle raising once, and i kid you not, when i told her to get off the shirt i was ironing on the ironing board, she stuck her tongue out at me! And was she ever loving when she wanted loving.
Stella is very beautiful.
