A First
This is supposedly the very first professional photograph of a cat. We thought we’d feature this little beauty on Sunday Selfie Day. Thanks to my friend John for sending this to me!

Oh wish I could remember, but the NYT had a huge story (not long ago) on a photographer who, long ago (!) photographed cats all over the streets of NYC, mostly black and white photos, some sepia tone, just beautiful work … strays mostly, living their lives … he was said to be among the “first” to really get into cat photography in a “big way” … wonder if this photo was one of his ??? It’s a beauty … and of course, so are your photos … and your kitties!

Eastside Cats
This spring, I visited the Cat Fanciers Association Museum in Ohio, and boy, do they have old photos of cats! I’m a rescued fan, so I don’t go into purebreeds, but you’ve got to admit that that old photo shows a very pretty kitty!
And we have a TON of Eastside Cats photobombing each other too!
