June Bug

I’m June Bug, you may recognize me from our website header.

Being named June Bug might be confusing to some because I’m a boy.

But there is a reason.

I was a little feral kitten that would stop by the Catscue house backyard

for vittles with my Mom and sibs.

Originally, the Peeps thought I looked like our big Ozzie

and called me Ozzie Junior.

Then they saw me playing with June bugs

on the back porch and the name stuck.

They used a drop trap baited with some of my favorite food

to trap me and my sibs all at once.

I wasn’t very happy about that at the time,

but I’ve learned to live with being a house cat.

There is another June Bug out on The Cat Blogosphere,

she can be found on Zoolatry and looks remarkably like me,
