We have a good news updates!

The Humane Society has shared some good news:

Prada is now fur free!

Thanks to all who petitioned and got this change made!

The Petition Site reports:

Good news! One of the only two remaining animal circuses in South Africa has decided to withdraw a court case against NSPCA and pay all costs involved!
Brian Boswell Circus sued the NSPCA in 2016 claiming a huge loss of income due to the organisation speaking out against the circus’s use of animals in performances. Well done NSPCA you did the right thing and we are all behind you! These two pathetic circuses must go animal free!
Keep signing and sharing!!

Thanks to all who petition for better treatment of animals – give yourselves a big pat on the back!

Check out all of this year’s results of petition signers on our Advocacy Results! page.

Memorial Day is just around the corner and we wanted to highlight military service animals today. We all are familiar with military dogs, horses and pigeons, but cats served an important roll as well.

Cats have always helped keep rodents and insects away from troop food supplies. In World War 2, they also gave their lives saving service men an women by detecting poisonous gas before it hurt humans. If the cat was effected, the troops knew to put on their gas masks fast! Unfortunately, there were not any gas masks for the cats. These amazing animals saved so many lives and we honor them today.

Check out PetMD they have featured 5 cats of war.
