Remember our ‘Top Gun’ litter; Maverick, Iceman and Jester?

Well, the name Iceman seemed a bit much for such a tiny kitten

and we started calling him Mookie.

Turns out, Iceman is a girl – so Mookie works.

Whew, I am so thankful for nicknames when we mess up a gender – MOL!

A few years back Cupcake was rescued from the countryside

and brought to us by a friend.

Cupcake was not sociable with the other kitties for quite a while,

mostly she kept to herself in the upstairs master bedroom.

Eventually she made some kitty friends but didn’t venture out much.

For some reason this Spring, she has become quite the social butterfly.

We find her all over the house now,

making new friends and being right in the middle of the socializing cats.

Cupcake has always been loving with humans,

but we are very thankful she is now socializing with cats too.
