Natalie
Someone (Ann), pointed out that they weren’t familiar with our Natalie.
I looked back at our posts and sure enough
– not much on our little Nat.
How remiss of us!
So, to rectify this, take it away Natalie!
Natalie: A very long time ago, (in cat years), I was dumped off in a neighborhood.
I was alone and scared.
Then I was alone and hungry.
But I saw an old feral Tom Cat who looked pretty well fed and followed him into a backyard.
There was food there and when he and the other ferals finished, I snuck up and ate the leftovers.
Then a man came out of the house and made nice noises at me, but I was afraid and ran away.
It was getting cold out, so later I snuck back and found the man left a bed out for me and more food and water.
This went on for a few days, the man called me Little Nate – didn’t he know I was a little girl-cat?
Sheesh!
After a while, I let the man come closer and I let him pet me.
Then after a while longer, I let him pick me up.
He took me inside the house where it was warm and there were other cats.
I wasn’t so sure about the other cats at first, so I kept to myself a lot.
Then, I started to make friends.
Cat Mom says I am a neat freak,
whenever a kitty comes near me who isn’t groomed properly,
I pin them down with my paw and give them a bath from nose to tail until they look spiffy.
I also have lots of snuggle buddies for naps.
I’ve even been approved as part of the clowder by our Patriarch Gandy.
So, that’s my story –
I became Natalie after Cat Dad and Cat Mom realized I wasn’t a boy.
Sheesh!

Ash young and old-ish
Ash was such a darling kitten.
But a very serious boy.
He isn’t a year old yet,
and has matured into a handsome,
but serious cat.
What a dude!
