BooBoo
Our little BooBoo is loving, playful, a purr machine,
and she is an absolute joy.
It’s hard to believe she is 3 months old now.
So far no one has snapped her up,
but a lot of that has to do with her having an upper respiratory issue when she was little.
That and she likes to jump up into your lap when she wants a snuggle
– even if that lap is standing up at the time – MOL!
She is perfectly healthy and that behavioral issue can and is being addressed.
But folks want a purrfect kitten and shy away from adopting those
with previous health and behavior issues.
We love our little BooBoo
and she has become family now
and will probably be with us permanently.
I admire the peeps in the world
who will adopt a kitty with some issues –
hooray for them!

Nicey
I just loved the Animal Shelter Volunteer Life post on Tanya last week,
they call the whispy white furs on a black cat’s chest ‘The White Badge of Nicey’.
So I thought we’d show our black kitties that have that ‘White Badge of Nicey’.
Cat Mom: Emmett, lift up your chin and show your fans your ‘White Badge of Nicey’.
Emmett: I’m not feeling particularly ‘nicey’ today.
Cat Mom: Aww, c’,mon, let me lift up that chin.
Emmett: Keep that finger away from my chin woman!
Cat Mom: …sigh.
Fox: I have a White Badge of Nicey mom, and I AM nicey!
Cat Mom: You sure are Fox, thanks buddy.
Fox: Now I’m going to go whap Emmett upside the head.
Cat Mom: Nicey Fox, it’s the White Badge of NICEY.
Fox: I’ll whap him in a nicey way.
Cat Mom: sigh.
