    Alistair and Ducky

    Alistair
    Ducky

We’ve missed our online friends, it has been a crazy busy month.

But we’re back and showing off what has kept us so busy.

Two, count it two litters of kittens – one foster litter

and one surprise abandoned Mom from the neighborhood litter.

Kittens are an absolute joy, but a lot of work.

For those of you who have not had a litter in your home,

heads-up; they are not born toilet trained and you can’t put diapers on them.

So … it is a lot of hunting down the latest kitten pee-pee and doo-doo.

You have to keep their area very clean,

otherwise, they end up with eye infections and all kinds of issues.

Socializing the kittens with peeps and other cats is important too.

All of it is absolutely worth the trouble, but it can make life hectic.

    Glad to be back!

    Ozzie

    Ozzie

    This is Ozzie.

He is a very large and very loving cat.

I call him my big lover-boy.

I’m not sure that we’ve ever told his story before,

    so here goes …

    Ozzie

Years ago, there was a cat who was abandoned in suburbia.

He was hungry, cold and very frightened.

He loved Peeps and could not understand why they had left him all alone in the world.

    Ozzie

Then he found a backyard that had cat food set out in bowls.

He gobbled it all up, then looked up longingly at the windows of the house.

A man came outside and scooped him right up and brought him inside.

    Ozzie

And he lived happily ever after.

Not a very original story – most of our cats have that same experience.

I wanted to share Ozzie’s story with you

to encourage everyone reading this to please give a homeless cat a loving home.

They bring so much love and joy with them,

you’ll never regret rescuing a cat.
